The Church in the West has become dangerously distracted. Much of this distraction comes from an over‑investment in political conflict, cultural agitation, and the constant pressure to choose sides. But when the Church becomes preoccupied with defending or dismantling political personalities, it loses sight of its global mandate.

God has entrusted me with an international assignment, and that assignment has taught me something vital:

The Kingdom of God is bigger than any one nation, any one administration, and any political cycle.

When your calling is global, you cannot afford to be trapped in the emotional turbulence of a single country’s political climate.

Scripture is clear about our posture toward earthly authority:

• “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers…” (Romans 13:1)

• “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” (Romans 12:18)

Yes — the Church is called to be law‑abiding as long as those laws do not violate the liberties God has given His people. But we must also understand that government and Church are two different ministries.

• Government is a ministry of justice.

• The Church is a ministry of mercy.

When the Church forgets this distinction, it begins to fight battles it was never anointed to fight.

Western Christianity has become so politicized, so policy‑driven, and so entangled in partisan rhetoric that it has drifted from the government of God — the Kingdom that already carries the solutions this world desperately needs. Jesus never told us to disciple political parties; He told us to disciple nations.

This is why Jesus said:

“Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s.” (Matthew 22:21)

If you belong to the Church —

you were bought with a price,

redeemed by His blood,

and your mind, soul, and body belong to God.

You cannot afford to be consumed by the wars, debates, and back‑biting that dominate Western political culture. The Church must not trade its prophetic voice for political commentary. The world does not need another opinion about a presidential administration — the world needs Jesus.

Isaiah prophesied of Christ:

“The government shall be upon His shoulder.” (Isaiah 9:6)

That means every earthly government ultimately rests under His authority.

He rules.

He reigns.

And He is returning soon.

So don’t get distracted.

Don’t get entangled.

Don’t let the noise of the West drown out the call of the nations.

Refocus on the gospel.

Refocus on the Kingdom.

Refocus on the One whose government never changes.
