Why I Offer Ministry Credentials and Ordination Licenses Free of Charge

The decision to provide ministry credentials and ordination licenses at no cost is rooted in both personal conviction and biblical principle.

Changing Dynamics of the Church

Over the past several years, the landscape of ministry has shifted. My own ordination experience—completed online—opened my eyes to the possibilities of serving God beyond traditional boundaries. It inspired me to pursue ministry in innovative ways that reach people where they are, rather than being confined to conventional structures.

Empowering Non-Traditional Ministry

I am not a conformist to tradition. Offering credentials freely is a non-traditional approach that empowers individuals who feel called to ministry but need an opportunity to step forward. It affirms their unique calling and provides assurance for those who may not fully understand the legal or organizational aspects of ministry.

Freedom from Financial Barriers

Many aspiring ministers cannot afford costly licenses offered by large institutions or mega ministries. By removing financial barriers, I ensure that no one is hindered from obeying God’s call simply because of money. Ministry should never be commodified; it is a divine assignment, not a commercial transaction.

Focus on God’s Call, Not Human Expectations

Free credentials allow ministers to focus on their obedience to God rather than the expectations of people. It enables them to operate in their calling without interruption, distraction, or undue pressure.

Scriptural Foundation

Freely Give What You Have Received

“Freely you have received; freely give.” — Matthew 10:8Ministry is a gift from God, not a product to be sold. Just as Christ gave freely, so should we.

Equipping the Saints

“So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” — Ephesians 4:11–12Credentials are a tool to equip believers for service, not a gatekeeping mechanism.

Breaking Tradition for the Sake of the Gospel

“To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.” — 1 Corinthians 9:22Non-traditional methods are not compromise; they are strategy for reaching the world with the gospel.

No Burden on the Called

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28Ministry should lift burdens, not add them. Free ordination removes unnecessary weight from those answering God’s call.
